Monthly Meeting, June 1, 2010

Chairman Larry Anderson called the June meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.  A full quorum was present. 
Also in attendance were Roger Henke, Leah Antoniewicz, Tim Murphy and
16 registered visitors.   
	The Clerk read the May Minutes.  Supervisor Henke made a motion to
accept the minutes as read.  Chairman Anderson seconded.  Motion
carried.
	The Treasurer reported the balance as of January 1, 2010 as
$752,994.30, total receipts as of May 31, 2010 $1,274,969.42 and total
disbursements as of May 31, 2010 of $1,859,958.40.  Balance on hand as
of May 31, 2010 was $168,005.32.  Chairman Anderson made a motion to
accept the Treasurer’s report.  Supervisor Henke seconded.  Motion
carried.
	LeRoy Spielbauer thanked Bruce Reynolds for such a great job on the
cemetery.  LeRoy said that he had heard many good comments.  Nancy
Bruce thanked the town for putting up the sign at Summit Lake.
	Chairman Anderson gave the May road report.  There were many downed
trees due to the spring snowstorm.  The boat landings at Long Lake and
Greater Bass were worked on and brushing on town roads and the debris
on the town land was pushed back.
	The Clerk presented the applications for liquor licenses from Larry
Roesel-Our Place, George Cross-Palace of Mirrors, Gordon
Schwabe-Hawk’s Nest, Pam Jansen-Bass Lake Restaurant and Bar, Ann
Gallenberger-Gumpy’s, Danny Breckheimer-Billy Timber’s Pub & Eatery,
and Dave Paulsen–Summit Lake Quick Mart.  Supervisor Henke made a
motion to approve the aforementioned liquor licenses.  Chairman
Anderson seconded.  Motion carried.
The board tabled the naming of town road off of Borth Road.
The 2010 road maintenance plan was tabled because Jim Jansen was not
present.
Supervisor Henke made a motion to pay the June bills.  Chairman
Anderson seconded.  Motion carried.
	Chairman Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Supervisor
Henke seconded.  Meeting adjourned.
