Town of Upham Monthly Meeting, May 4, 2010 Chairman Larry Anderson called the May meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. A full quorum was present. Also in attendance were James Jansen, Roger Henke, Leah Antoniewicz, Tim Murphy and 23 registered visitors. The Clerk read the April Minutes. Supervisor Jansen made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Supervisor Henke seconded. Motion carried. The Treasurer reported the balance as of January 1, 2010 as $752,994.30, total receipts as of April 30, 2010 $1,270,624.20 and total disbursements as of April 30, 2010 of $1,845,790.02. Balance on hand as of April 30, 2010 was $177,828.48. Chairman Anderson made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report. Supervisor Henke seconded. Motion carried. Pat Raith asked what the town was going to do with the old town records stored over in the old town hall. Chairman Anderson said he would look into it. Chairman Anderson gave the April road report. Shouldering and knocking over trees in the road right of way were done. The road inspection date is May 7, 2010. The board will meet at the town hall at 9:00 a.m. Supervisor Jansen made a motion to assign cemetery deed to Jack and Alice Mayer from Mr. & Mrs. Al Kelly. Chairman Anderson seconded. Motion carried. The Board reviewed Permit #604 Petition for Grant of Variance to build a cabin which does not meet 125’ of water setback on Shoestring Lake. The board will look at it on the road inspection. Supervisor Henke made a motion to pay the May bills. Supervisor Jansen seconded. Motion carried. Supervisor Jansen made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Supervisor Henke seconded. Meeting adjourned.
